ABOUT THE PROJECT
One of the biggest publicly traded, language service providers and an existing client of Consulligent, struggled to meet capacity for a large localisation functional testing project with challenging deadlines They quickly needed to bring on board a partner who could put together a high quality team that would enable them to complete the project’s requirements in a timely fashion Sourcing resources directly would be a time consuming exercise.
THE CHALLENGE
The client needed to secure local resources that would collaborate with the offshore development teams to provide the customer with ongoing support around localisation and functional testing. The client struggled to locate qualified professionals that would allow their internal localisation testing team to work remotely and remain as flexible as possible throughout the entire project.
OUR SOLUTION
Consulligent was consulted by the client to leverage it s robust staff augmentation model and within 1 week we were able to identify a team of testers from our resource pool comprising of bench staff who are on our company payroll and schedule them for client interviews with the Test Lead, then interview with Test Manager and deployment.
THE OUTCOME
Over the course of the 4-month project, the Consulligent staffing team successfully staffed an entire team of skilled localisation test professionals who performed functional testing ( manual) on client provided software. This ensured updates were consistently released on time, with testing cycles completed in under two weeks. Nearly 25% more bugs were caught pre-release.
This had a have significant impact on time and cost savings as Outsourced production could free up in house team to focus on value added tasks and drive growth by scaling resources quickly.
